They protect your hands and give the rider more confidence to take steeper hills. The rugid cowhide leather is longlasting and the top part is a breathable mesh. The round One inch thick sliding puck is made of long lasting high-density composite plastic. The size and shape allows for smooth snag-free sliding while also allowing the rider to grab the board while sliding and allow dexterity. The pucks are mounted with hardware into a specially designed insert that is conformed to the palm and padded for extra shock absorbsion.
